Watch Your Car is an auto theft program.
The owner of a vehicle displaying these decals agrees to the terms and conditions of the program. The vehicle, if seen on any public road between
1 a.m. and 5 a.m. can be stopped by law enforcement officials and the driver questioned if he/she is legally authorized to operate the vehicle. It is a federal offense to remove the decals without the consent of the owner.
Many states nationwide participate in this program, including Delaware, Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and North Carolina among other mid-west states.
